No. The projector runs from a USB plug at the end of its cable, so there is nothing to charge and nothing to replace. A phone charger, laptop or power bank is enough.
Can I leave it running all evening?
Yes. It is an LED, so it stays cool to the touch and sips power. Most people leave it on as a night light through December.

The lamp has a USB plug at the end of its cable, so you are not tied to a wall socket. Use a USB extension cable, or run it from a power bank, and you can stand it anywhere in the room — on a shelf, a side table or the floor — with the lens pointing at the ceiling. A power bank also lets you move it to another room without unplugging anything.
Does it work outside the holidays?
The bulb projects festive scenes, so it is built for the season. Store it back in the box in January and it will be ready for next December.
